Safety and protection of all members and friends, or safeguarding, is important to us and is enshrined in the values of L’Arche. L’Arche Canada is committed to protecting all of our members, with and without intellectual disabilities, from harm caused by any kind of abuse, violence, harassment or neglect.  This commitment to promote a safe environment and culture is part of our mission: to honor the unique value of every human being.
